Does anyone use a Neoprene pressure vest? If so what have you found with it's use?

My son's school started using one on him at school because he was having a hard time sitting still in circle time. Innitially they tried a weighted vest, but that didn't work so they tried the pressure vest and said it made an amazing difference. He sits still and responds to questions easily. I purchased one for home for situations where there is a great deal of sensory overload such as a family party or when he just seems anxious and out of control. It seems to work well. I haven't really seen the difference the school discribed, but that's ok. We call it his hug vest!

we also call it a "huggie vest" and it is great to help when he just can't get a hold of his anxiety.

they use both a pressure vest and weight vest for my son at school.  I can't say I am convinced of its help.

The main thing we have seen is when we use it at church. When it is used he can sit through both services which last around three hours. We only leave it on for 30 minutes at a time, we then take it off for five minutes and then put it back on for 30. Along with this we sometimes use join compressions of his arms, hands and fingers which he loves.
