socialization

September 03, 2010

socialization sometimes can be in a creative way, some disorders as we know which is so hard is to communicate.  Miss Susan Boyle has a form of autism which is a form of Asperger's which sometimes causes her to panic. She is a wonderful singer and communicator which inspires us all to start talking. There are some other wonderful young people that have formed a play called "Normal People Scare Me" that helps people with slight and moderate forms of autism to understand themselves from the rest of the crowd. The problem is,  the other side "neuro-typical" also wants to be friends with them despite of their differences.

Some autistics have an incredible creative source of imagery that neurotypicals wish they could have. That creative source of imagery can make an imperial difference in the world as we know it. There are so many creative ventures that some don't ever take. The funny part of it is some of them are taking full advantage of it and are earning really well. The asperger professional artist has become an advertising executive with a twist of something a little different.
In the office, it's a good thing to have someone with autism who can keep books really well on computer and in files. They don't have to brown-nose because once they know the system and master it they know they are doing a really good job.
If you live with others that have issues, sometimes lag of concentration and frustration can mess up your creative processes and your projects become less soggy and interesting then you are off to find something different. This is something that I find difficult. I have written extremely nice papers on Gestalt Psychology through self study, and other ones. I almost completed writing my first novel which I was going to submit to Harlequin Steeple Hill, and one before that that became a little more difficult to digest.  I finished several short stories, one almost became published, it was going to be accepted within a year, but the magazine lost money and went out of business.
Pick up a copy of Artist's Market,  Literary Market Place, and Children's Writer's and Illustrator's Market. If you have a computer and can get online, go to LuLu and publish something, offer your ebook for free and a paid version of the book or $1.00 for the pdf version for reader. It's a quick way to make a little money.
LuLu is a pod publisher it's a (print on demand) publishing company which is different from self-publishing companies or vanity publishers. You own the rights to your product, you just give lulu the okay to get a fee for printing your book the way you designed it. LuLu also has something for younger people to get talking. If you have a kid, your kid can write their own book. :) It's a great project and the marketing is up to you to do. You can make your own website and social bookmark it and get your friends to email it to people and then put it on any place you desire.
I am just trying to get you to be creative, don't hold back anything you got to say and don't let anything say it for you if you can do it yourselves. You can do anything.
There was an incredible little girl on the Today's show that did something extrodinary the other day. The girl said, "It makes me feel like I can do something". This girl didn't make herself feel like she did anything she really really did it and did it really well. She can do it again and again if she wants to. The girl has a slight impairment but just incredible. She makes me proud to have a type of autism.
