Dating and Sexuality for Teens and Adults with ASD

Hi. I work for a non-profit providing ABA services to teens.

I am just curious: How many people here think that an ABA program, for older teens and/or adults on the spectrum, that focused on dating/sexuality would have a positive impact on the autism community?

I feel that my recent work with teens has brought to light (for me) a need for a program that deals with teens' burgeoning sexuality, and with their possible interests in romantic relations, in frank and realistic terms.  Puberty is hard enough for people who aren't dealing with ASD, and it seems totally unfair to ignore this aspect of growing up for people on the spectrum.

It also seems like it might be helpful to have a program/workshop that addresses the ins and outs of dating for adults with ASD.

I'm sure that there must be specialists in this field, but I am not familiar with their work, and would be curious to know what resources are really out there.

Thanks for your input.
