It has been my lifelong dream to build a carousel, and since learnig about having Asperger's Syndrome myself, I've always wanted to do something special to educate the public in a meaningful way. The Autism Awareness carousel combines my desire to teach people about the autism spectrum and share my love and knowledge of carousels as well as invite my fellow artists on the autism spectrum to amaze the public with their wondrous talents by contributing their skills, be it designing animals or painting scenery panels and/or rounding boards.

For all who have Asperger's or would like to know more about it!

Sharing idea's about biomedical treatments & diet interventions for ASD.  I am not a specialist....just a mother of two who's seeing improvements and would like to share with others who are also trying this form of treatment or are wanting to start.........lets talk and support one another!

This group is dedicated to autistics with sensory integration disorder and also autistics who just plain stim!

"If it were not for Autism, normal people would still be socializing in caves."  --Dr. Temple Grandin, Ph.D.I recognize Autism Spectrum Differences as important Cultural contributors that have been proven in many cases to be overlooked personal gifts, have played vital roles in the progress and survival of our human species, and those who live in this Culture, expressed through ASD, may receive that consideration and credit which has been denied in Ages past.Too many focus on the negative aspects; so much, that many deny the qualities they are blessed with and can be proud of.  Here are some names who exhibit many ASD traits and behaviors and learned how to focus their potential into powerful results.Whether you are extraordinary or a fan of one, come and see what adventures are waiting for every one.- Your Joys Are Your Sorrows Unmasked - KG

this community for those who want to make a difference and contribute instead of complaining and using neurological disorder as an excuse.  We should be proud to be who we are, we are no different from anyone else and we can change the world with our voices. We have a voice and we should use it. :)
