    I was a special education teacher who taught children with Autism and sensory integration issues, so this area is of great interest to me. I am really interested in ideas and tools to help children with these issues.

    I have a 6 year old son with moderate autism and sensory integration dysfunction. He was diagnosed at 3 1/2 years old, but since starting preschool and receiving therapy, he has gone from being non verbal to asking for hugs and talking!  He just began speaking about 2 years ago and he amazes me everyday with the new things he says.
